Welcome to The Lotus Review!

Our innovation centered magazine has officially taken a home on the internet and as our stories begin to reach communities, change makers, stakeholders and entrepreneurs I hope that we grow not only as writers but as people as well. This blog will document the ups and downs of starting a media venture, the lessons that we learn and the discoveries we make.

In preparation for the New Venture Competition I have seen nothing but support and community take form as we begin to plan and develop this project. One thing that’s unique about being a student studying journalism is the community that you build along the way. With other writers, with sources, with local organizations and businesses. I’ve seen that community shine as we start to produce content.

As we embark on our journalistic journey, we are determined to find the stories that matter and bring them to life through words and multimedia. I can’t wait to bring them to this audience as well.
